Orion Hangs when with hour glass

When attempting to open Orion it hangs with a hour glass and states connecting to polling engine. It never moves beyond that hour glass. This started 2 days ago for no apparent reason. Weekly data maintenance is accomplished each Sunday night. I've had Orion running for about a year. I did an update to the latest version of Orion, but it didn't fix the problem.

Has any of the accounts or passwords changed on your server?
The Polling engine needs to be authenticated to connect to the database.
You can try re-running the Install Wizard. Make sure you are logged in with an Admin account.
