can't delete nodes or interfaces

Dears,

We have Orion 9.5.1 installed in a server separated from SQL which is installed in another machine , we have another 2 polling engines version 9.5 sp2

normally as per my information , the web is installed in the first machine with the main polling engine , how can i separate the web from the main polling engine ?

another thing is that when i access the web console , i can see all nodes normally but can't delete any interface or node added on the additional polling one , taking into consideration that i can delete those added on the first machine with no problem , any clarification ???

For your first question (separating the webserver) you need to purchase the "Additional Web Server" license and install it on another machine. It's a very simple installation but it is another license.

For your second question (can't delete interfaces or nodes that are assigned to the second polling engine) I need some additional information:

1) how are you going about deleting those items?

2) If you move the device from the second polling engine to the first, can you THEN delete it (or it's interfaces?)

thanks for your reply ,

1) i'm trying to delete the nodes from web as normal , and because i always fail to do that , i delete them from the system manager of the polloing engine ( of course after know in which polling engine the node belongs to ) , and may be from the database directly

2)As mentioned before , i can delete any node belongs to the main poller , but can't do that when the node belongs to the other 2 pollers .but if i moved a node from the other poller to the main one , i become able to delete them normally !!

when do you delete nodes/interfaces, do you see any message? Can you check weblog for errors? Eventually enable debug log (logadjuster) and check what's in log files?

Unfortunately , i only check the node , click delete , the page refresh with nothing happened and the nodes appear with no change

can you help me finding those files and how to trace them , so i can provide you with these logs and debugs !
