NCM NPM IPAM

Hello,

Currently we are running NPM 12.2 NCM 7.7 and IPAM v4.6.0. it connect to a sql database on a sql server.

due to budget reasons we are most likely not renewing NPM. so from what i have read we can run IPAM and NCM without NPM. however when it comes time to upgrade those 2 it will be a problem since we cannot upgrade NPM.

so if i rebuild a new IPAM / NCM box can i tie somehow pull the SQL data off the SQL database so i do  not have to start from scratch?

Clone your database, and when setting up your new IPAM/NCM box, point to the cloned database instance in the configuration wizard step. Then, make sure you're following steps to change the ip address of the server correctly  Change the IP address of your NPM server - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support  and you should be good to go.
