Monitoring these devices

Hi,

Just wondering whether Orion can monitor performance for these devices, Firewall – Cisco Pix (model: PX525 IOS ver 6.3(4))
Load Balancer – Foundry (model: ServerIron XL SW ver.7.3.07dT12)
Checkpoint NG (version : NG AI (R54) )
Load Balancer – F5 BigIP (model : BigIP 1000 )

If it is possible, can anyone tell me how to implement it?

Hi Oct_7,

Orion can monitor whether or not these devices are responding (UP/DOWN status). It can also monitor interface info (UP/DOWN, errors, bandwidth utilization, etc...). In terms of monitoring CPU, memory, or disk volume information I think you are out of luck.

However, the kids at SolarWinds are always updating the list of supported devices. So it is possible that some day the devices on your list will be supported.
