Orion Platform 2019.2 Hotfix 1 release notes

Hi there,

It is getting very difficult to find release notes for hotfixes.

After several links, most dead, I finally came to the following page:

Success Center which points to this page https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Orion-Platform-2019-2-Hotfix-1?r=4&ui-force-components-controller… but it is requiring me to login.

No known logins work. Can someone please share the release notes here?

Hey Deltona that page was working yesterday as I was on it, and my Orion system showed me there was an update available for my Orion (within the Web Console) but today the link is locked and my Orion tells me it's already up to date.

I suspect the document has been pulled by SolarWinds

Hi David,

Are you sure you got a notification about a Hotfix update?

AFAIK only version updates trigger a notification in the Orion console.

Oh no I didn't get a notification I heard about it from another community member. My lab is already on 12.5, when I tried yesterday to Check for Updates within the Orion console, it told me there was an update available. I tried to perform that update today but it appears that it is no longer available. Even the offline installer tells me that I'm running the latest version.

From my view, it appears maybe the HF1 has been pulled.

I've never received an email or notification (in Orion web console) about hotfixes. I'm just curious about how I can be notified when they're available!

I just went into the customer portal, to the hotfix download. When I click on release notes I'm redirected to core 2018.4 release notes, but the download file has 2019.2 in the name. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Thanks aLTeReGo - Do you know if this HF will address the outstanding issue of Custom Charts that use a SQL/SWQL Data source?

Thanks for the links. Will the contents of these HFs be baked into the latest platform downloads, or will they need to be applied after we upgrade to 19.2?

By the end of today, the hotfix will be included in any new installations of Orion.
