When will custom MIBs be supported?

I've been using NPM since V5. I have seen custom MIBS requested since I started using the product - I have requested them.

I realize there are many development requirements, but this has got to be bubbling up to the top of the list.

Do we have a version target for support?

Agreed. SW should be embarrassed at the lack of custom MIB support. Especially considering the overwhelming demand... it's just bad customer service.

While I enjoy being able to pick gold vs. blue performance dials, and launching RDP with one click is cute, I think most would agree that importing custom MIBs is MUCH more important.

Hi Tom,

Custom MIB support has been requested by dozens of people in this forum. I have requested it no less than 10 times myself. At this time I have heard no response from the folks at SW as to whether or not they are working on it or when they plan to release it (if ever).

If you do a search for custom MIB you will see how often this has come up in the forum.

I have heard through the grapevine that this feature will be released in V8.
Please don't ask when V8 will be released.

It'll be released when it's finished (for all you Half-Life 2 fans out there that waited 5 years for this game to be finished :>)

I found out that they are actively working on making this happen and just like with the new Application / TCP service / Wireless plug-in's its my understanding that SW is working at a way of making this a reality by getting out of the simple CANNED system into a more modular one to allow plug-ins, which im sure custom MIBS will be just another one of these plug-ins.

I have had an opportunity to discuss this issue and have found out that with some amount of luck that custom MIBs will be supported either 05Q4 or 06Q1. It still isn't as soon as I would like but hey, at least there is some sort of target.

If custom MIB will be included in NPM You dont want to buy Solarwinds Toolset.
Custom MIB never be including in NPM

Huh? Have your read any posts on here? Custom MIB is in the works now. I recommend people buying both NPM and the toolsets....they work well together.
