What's the best way to monitor Cisco line card status? I do not see any configuration for this, or data that's collected by default. Do I have to set up a poller for it? We are running NPM 12.4.
I would recommend consulting vendor documentation to see which MIB provides this information. A custom poller may be able to provide this information if the proper MIB is polled.
Syslog and SNMP traps may also be options.
