How do you create an Alert to notify you when there is an IP Conflict?

It looks like there's a Microsoft event ID associated with that issue. You could have your events forwarded as traps to SolarWinds and then alert when you see this particular one come across.

Thanks! that is a good approach. I was hoping there was a predefined Alert like there is in What's UP Gold.

I find it better to trigger on the syslog alert that the switch throws when a duplicate IP is detected. There's no guarantee that you'll always have MS hosts properly configured - the switch will always know.
