Password protect System Manager?
marko
Hi,
Is it possible to require an user name and password to launch System Manager? In an outsourcing or multi-customer scenario there are situations where the actual network managers do not own the server hardware and thus cannot influence the AD accounts used to log into the server. Nevertheless, it is not necessarily desirable that the customer can log into the server and thus have open access to System Manager.
Best regards,
Marko

Hi Marko,
I did a Google search for "Password protect applications" & came up with these results:
www.google.ca/search
www.blumentals.net/.../
www.sharewareconnection.com/.../protect-applications.htm
www.downloadjunction.com/.../index.html
You should be able to protect the NetPerfMon.exe file with something like this.

Set appropriate NTFS permissions on OrionNetPerfMon.exe
