Alert Variables for Custom MIB Poller

I'm trying to get my router's BGP status and would like to show/verify the value by using email alert, I tried below but failed:

${CustomPollers.OID}

${CustomPollers.OID.10.10.5.5}

${1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.187.1.2.1.1.8.10.10.5.5}

Is there any Macros for custom MIB Poller?

One more thing: On the "Custom MIB Poller Wizard", I don't know which "MIB Value Type" and "Type" is suitable for my polling, is there any details information about these 2 options?

Because my new setup always showed "No Data" on the Custom Poll Status.

There is a patch that should fix your "No Data" problem:

Hi dperdue,

After installed the patch for Custome MIB Poller, found that the following messages still be found on Event Viewer:

Source: OrionCustomPollingService
Type: Error
Error Opening MainTaskDataReader
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

Is this a single error or does it repeat? If this is a single error or occasional then you can safely ignore this error. If it is happening constantly or often then there may be a problem.

Custom Poller uses the same interval as the standard poller.

Where are you seeing the poller interval of 30 minutes?

Are there any errors in the event log?
