Switch Reboots - Report
pshankland
Hi,
I have a problem at the moment with one of our switches rebooting every now-and-then. I have Orion set-up to Email when this happens but I was wondering if and how I could create a report to show when then switch rebooted.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

You can create a Reboot report with Orion Report Writer.
You query the event log & can display the date & time of the reboot contained in the message.

Thanks but not quite what I wanted. That report would show the last time a device rebooted when what I need is something like the following:
Device A Rebooted on 10th October at 14:00
Device A Rebooted on 9th October at 14:00
Device A Rebooted on 5th September at 01:00
..
..
..
So instead of just the last time a device rebooted, I need a report showing all the reboots the device has had.
Thanks.

What NG suggested would do what you want.
You need to filter the Events table in Orion and show everything where node=your switch and event type=reboot
