sqlservr.exe process consumes up 99% CPU

Hi,

I've running Orion NPM v9.5, and IPAM v1.0.1 on a Windows 2003 Server.

After the update to NPM 9.5 and the needed SQL Server update with SP2 the process consumes up to 99% capacity.

I've already limit the granted memory assigned to the SQL Server to 1024 MByte.

After a server reboot, the sqservr process runs on a normal level. But after ca. one businessday the process runs again at 80 - 99%.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to solve this issue ?

check on the orion server itself if there is a database maintenance process running.... it kicks off every night and there is a bug that means it never ends...

it sounds like I've the same issue.

All I need now is the way how I can change the script in that prcedure.

I already ask that question in thread you posted.

Finally I found the solution in the link from Elisabeth.

I had a call with the Orion support today and they told me, that the SP2 will comming soon. That SP should fix the issue with the daily DB maintanance.
