Old setup :
Windows 2003 Server 32bit with Orion v7.8 and Cirrus 3 installed on it use the SQL Desktop Edition that comes with Orion.
Migrated setup:
Windows 2003 Server 32bit with Orion v8.02 and Cirrus 3.5 installed. Both databases are setup on a seperate SQL Server running SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition.
The migration of Cirrus went over great everything works like it used to.
In Orion i can see all of the nodes and all of the old reports and it is polling the nodes, but when I try to get to the Orion website i get this error message:
Critical Error
Cannot access main SQL Server database.
Connection = Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;User ID='SolarWindsNPM';Password='*********';Persist Security Info=False;Initial Catalog=NetPerfMon;Data Source=CASQL10\ORION;Use Procedure for Prepare=1;Auto Translate=True;Packet Size=4096;Workstation ID=SolarWinds;Use Encryption for Data=FALSE;Tag with column collation when possible=False
Error = [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
I have uninstalled the website and reinstalled it using the configuration wizard, but that doesn't seem to help. Is there any reason why I would be getting this error? I can access the database in orion because i can see the nodes and it records the new data, but it doesn't seem like the website can access the database.
I would be grateful for any help
Thanks
