NPM won't start

I installed the latest NPM 10.1.1 Hotfix 2 and now NPM won't start. I went through the proper new licensing setup and made sure NPM and NTa were activated. I get this error now:

and yes I have rebooted...

A support engineer got back to me right away and suggested I do this:

You will need to Go into Add and Remove Programs
Remove .Net 4. Most likely there are two installs for 4. Uninstall the one with client in the name second or you will receive an error.
Once .Net 4 is uninstalled, it may ask for a Reboot, let the System Reboot.
Go into Add and Remove Programs, select .Net 3.5 SP1 and select Change, Repair.
Once .Net 3.5 is repaired, select Solarwinds Orion Core 2010.2 and select Change> Repair
After the Repair, run through the Configuration Wizard, select all 3 Options, then run through the Default settings.

that fixed the problem and now all is fine.

I am about to apply hotfix 2 to NPM running 10.1.1 with hotfix 1 already and wanted to know the outcome of your issue.

Can you provide any additional details to your problem and if this has been resolved?
