Orion Network Perfmon on Workstations

I know that I can monitor events through webbrowser interface in the Events tab. But I would like to have it installed on an individual workstations

and for the endusers to connect to the solarwinds server to pull up Events informaiton. So basically being able to install Orion Network Performance Manager

on winxp workstation to monitor things. Is that possible?

Im not sure if you are aware but the products which seem to be appropriate given the contents of your post would be the solarwinds engineers toolsets.

ok that kind of looks like what I might find useful. however how do i point the network monitor to the syslog server running on our functioning solarwinds server?

After I've installed engineer's toolset it insists on monitoring server running on 127.0.0.1 not on some remote machine.
