Application Advance Alert issue

I am new to all of this and i am wondering if i am doing this right. I need to setup up an alert to email me when a service(IIS) gets restarted. I used the advance alerts method:

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply:
    Node Name is equal to TestWeb
    Application name is equal to Internet Information Server
    Application Status has changed

This should let me know if the IIS service gets restarted right.. Am i missing anything?

The "has changed" operator will not work in this case.

Is it clarified somewhere in the documentation which operators are valid for different cases?

"has changed" is explained here.

From the doc:

"Note: The has changed condition is only valid for the Last Boot, IOS Version, and IOS Image Family device characteristics."
