Syslog and Event Viewer not populating with new messages.

This morning I noticed that our Web GUI is not populating new Events, Traps or syslog messages, but we are still receiving e-mail alerts I created when we receive certain syslog, traps or events.  so, that tells me it isn't a Fire Wall issue or port issue.  I did notice that the "SolarWinds Orion Module Engine" is not started.  I tried to start it and it just turns itself off.  I tried to restart it several times and it will not start.  Is this service engine the reason my viewers are not populating with new messages or is there something else I have over looked?  Any Suggestions?

I was running SQL express, this has a max of 4GB of space.  I ran out of space.  I moved the DB to a different server with SQL 2005 on it and everything is running smoothly.
