When we applied the SP1 service pack, suddenly we lost Netflow data from server of our routers. We also had some routers that if we did a Discover Resources, or Verify SNMP, it would time out.
Our first suspicion was that the Orion SP blew things up.
We were wrong...
There's a bug in many versions of Cisco IOS (including current releases) where Netflow and SNMP mess all up - if the netflow server does not respond - You can do a " show ip flow export" - and it looks like it's working to make things even worse.
Well, guess what happens when you apply the SP? It takes Orion offline - any triggers the bug.
Rebooting the router (while Orion/Netflow) is up generally fixes the problem.
