net-snmp 5.1

Has anyone successfully implemented net-snmp 5.1 with Orion 7.5?

Currently running Sun Solaris 8 with net-snmp 5.1 - Orion 7.5 is not detecting cpu, memory, disk/swap space resources.

Net-snmp 5.1 works fine with Cricket v1.0.4

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I use solarwinds orion 7.5 with net-snmp 5.0.9,
everything ok

I have not tried v5.1 cos I have heard it is really buggy and has issues... however I have successfully implemented v5.09 with no problems or issues on both SUN Solaris 5.9 and HP-UX 11 boxes.... works a treat and gives disk, CPU and memory reporting perfectly...

I am a newbee who just setup this stuff. Where do i get my hands on the net-snmp 5.1 ? and instructions on how to install and configure?

I'm currently testing with net-snmp v5.0.9 - Orion is not detecting disk/swap space resources. How did you got it to work?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

v5.0.7 is the last version that I know of that works for disks...
later versions hang when polling the disks.

We have net-snmp-5.0.9-2.30E.12 and its buggy. I'm testing monitoring a server and I see a few volumes but not all of them. Very weird results.

I'm also trying to monitor a Solaris 8 server and I can't see the cpu, memory of disks.

I have tried this version with sol 9. The only problem is the memory stats. Cant figure out it arrives at the % utilization. it is always showing > 160%.

reporting on RAM and Swap seem fine though.

Any suggestions??
