Lost credentials due to restoring database in NPM 21.4 - SQL Server 2016

Question

Hello everyone,,

I've built a new Solarwinds NPM 12.4 with server 2016.

After restoring the existing database on new SQL Server 2016, I'm unable to login with existing credentials.

How can I login ... is there any default username/password?

I do have local saved credentials that at least work other than the ones with AD credentials.

I have reset the Admin password with blank by going into the database as the the instructions below:

But still it is not authenticating Admin. I have some local users that I use on the current Server. They are also not authenticating.

Is there anything I'm missing??

Did any of the settings change with your domain controller for the new server?  I'd expect thats the most likely reason why AD based logins would stop working.

Out of the box there is a local "admin" account, and there are kb articles about how to reset it's password if you lose it after setting it since it defaults to being blank
