Hi forum
I made a bit of a mistake, I build a new Windows 2008 R2 64bit server, install the additional poller software 9this is my 6th additional poller). I then realised I had not name the server, it was still the default stupid name. I therefore rename the server, and rebooted. The server seemed fine, but the poller now appears twice when starting system manger on the local box, with the new name appearing as RED, i.e. down, even though you can connect to them both
Within the web console, the poller appears twice using both names
I would not worry too much, but for some reason I am getting tons of missed polls on this new poller, and I have only added 80 network routers, with 3 interfaces on each. (I have an alert that fires when nodes appear to not be collecting node information).
I was wondering if the dual naming might have something to do with this, or is it a windows 2008 R2 64-bit issue?
