Transmit and Receive Discards

We utilize Orion 7.2 to monitor Cisco routers and switches. When looking at port on a 6513. Orion reports either Transmit or Receive Discards.
When looking at the ports counters on the switch we see NO evidence of any errors.
Has anyone seen this? I assume Solarwinds is being told of these errors via the MIB on the 6513.
When checking the NIC's of the servers patched into the 6513 we see no errors being reported.

Discards & Errors are 2 different things. Seeing discards does not mean you have errors on the port. You can do a search in this forum for "discards" and/or "port errors", to see what others have discovered.
