Can Orion monitor and report on failures on jobs run in Windows' TASK SCHEDULER?

I was asked this question and don't know the answer. But - Can Orion monitor and report failures on jobs run via Windows Task Scheduler?Thanks.

I have more information about this but I'm still at a lost if Orion NPM (or even APM) can monitor something like this. It seems to me the executable can potentially go by so quickly that a poll may not catch it.

Anyway heres' that extra info (thanks for any thoughts or ideas on this):

We had a situation where we had an executable/bat file that was initiated by a schedule task continuously fail because of a change in permissions without anyone being notified.

We have since made changes to send us an email if the executable is not successful.

However, we are trying to guard against the executable never being initiated by the scheduler and thus not running and thus no emails sent.
