Custom Poller and APC UPS

I'm having tremendous difficulty trying to find the OID for temp monitoring on our APC UPS enviro probe, has anyone managed to get this to work. Would they mind sharing the OID with me?

APC support is next to useless and this was one of the main reasons for wanting custom MIB polling.

Any help would be much appreciated.

OID for battery temp should be: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.2

OID for emStatusProbeCurrentTemp is: 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.1.3.3.1.4. However, the emStatusProbeCurrentTemp is a value in a table of probes, and unless I'm missing something, I don't think Orion is capable of walking through the values in a table without setting a Get request for each possible specific OID (each line in the table).

The APC mib is called POWERNET MIB and is documented here (among other places): www.oidview.com/.../PowerNet-MIB.html

1.3.6.1.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.4 and it's working fine. it's also
emStatusProbeCurrentTemp I'm monitoring the environmental probe off of an APC network management card with environmental.
Humidity is
oid 1.3.6.1.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.6
you don't need a get request for these you can use a get next.

Also I have all the APC MIBS mapped out in my test server of orion. That's one of the reasons I'm so anoyed with not being able to export them. If I could have exported them and posted them here you could have just imported t hem and saved you self hours of work. I have them for the Smart UPS and the switched and metered power strips.

As it is I have an import button with nothing to import...

I know what you mean about an export button. I e-mailed development about it and they said it sounded like a good idea but they would not be able to get it out in v8 but a future version. A bit pointless really considering all of us that have been testing it in the beta and will have to re-setup in the release version.
I also asked about creating an area in customer support for custom pollers so we could all share each others findings again this the response was a good one but they didn't say when.

My OID mistakes aside (1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.4 is correct), I'd be cautious about using a GetNext request for any value stored in a table, including the emStatusProbeCurrentTemp). You can get the value, but you will only pull the value for the first record in the table. If the device has multiple probes stored in that table (multiple temperature probes, hard disks, power supplies, etc), you won't be alerted on any except the first record in the table.

I'm hoping SW implements a GetTable option, but in the meantime, I've gone totally to SNMPTraps.
