Allow User to Update Custom Properties Only

Is there a way that I can grant a particular Orion NPM user the ability to update custom properties? I do not want them to have the ability to add/remove any nodes, interfaces or volumes.

You can allow them to edit custom properties; however it's done on a per custom property basis by adding a new resource to your Node level view called Edit Custom Property. Below is a screenshot of where you can find that resource...

Thanks! That is a help. However, I'm guessing this precludes them from being able to make bulk changes, correct?

That is my understanding as well, for bulk changes they would need Node Management rights.

Hi all

This post is very old, but I am trying to achieve something similar right now.

I would like to let Ops team modify/edit one of the nodes' custom properties without giving them Node Admin permissions.

Is that possible?
