Nodes disappearing from Orion Network Peformance Monitor GUI

Hi All.

We are running v9.5.0 on Windows 2008 server on an ESX box. We've added in over 300 devices using the GUI for Network performance Monitor; i.e. New Add node icon, and then inputting IPs and SNMP etc. However I opened it today and there is only 2 devices displaying. If I view the web based version of the manager all devices are displayed and likewise within the solarwinds monitoring webpages we have no issues with any of the devices.

Can anyone shed some light as to what is causing this - as I was going to start selecting individual ports on switches, but I can't if I cannot see them

How many polling engines do you have?

You might be on the wrong poller server. Also, make sure the that the DB is intact by l;oooking at the db with db manager.

hi - I was able to get it back working by re-adding the devices to the polling server.

You should not have had to do that.

I have had it where it takes some time for the processes to complete but that was not correct.

I would still oook at your db to make sure it is correct. You may have two devices with the same criteria now. I'm just suggesting. Have a good day.
