Orion 8.5 Issues

For the past week I've been trying to follow the trials and tribulations of Orion 8.5, but in all honesty, it has become too time consuming to keep up.

Would it be possible to have a thread with a consolidated listing of issues reported, tickets opened and fixes pending?

At this point we're staying with 8.1 until hotfixes start being released or (perfered) a interum release with hotfixes incorporated (8.5.1) is avalible.

We're about to release a hotfix, which will address a lot of these issues. We'll see about whether we can consolidate what remains after that goes out.

Any Idea when the first Hotfix will be released? I rediculously upgraded my production systems from 8.1 to 8.5 because of slow access via the web, partly because a SW Engineer sugested I do and now instead of slow access I have no access!!!! I have at least four tickets opened.17582, 17659, 17513, 17501.

The most trying issue right now, is what needs fixed to allow for consistant access via the web front-end??

Still trying to get a handle on what issues are remaining, any chance of keeping a list of known issues/bugs and then updating the list with the hotfix that resovles them?

Really, I couldn't agree more, I can't upgrade until I am reasonable certain I wont negatively impact functionality or reliability our system. We depend on it too much and I'm just not getting the warm fuzzies from the way the release of 8.5 has been handled.

I too am concerned about the release of 8.5 and how it has been handled. Things that did work are now broken. I think more testing needs to go into the product before release and that hotfixes should be better tested. I don't get warm fuzzies when the approach is - "try this.... oh that didn't work - okay try this" Also the fixes need better documentation. Not all of us are experts in IIS or SQL.
