NPM and VMware ESX hosts monitoring

Hello,

i've some problems in monitoring my esx hosts.. i can't manager to get it working..

i've followed the procedure indicated in kb at http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/1340/Enabling+SNMP+on+VMware+ESX%7B47%7DESXi+Server+version+4

If i try to query esx from local CLI it seems to work:

[root@esx-04 ~]# snmpwalk -v1 -c 'myrocommunity' localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.6876 | grep 6876.1

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.6876.1.1.0 = STRING: "VMware ESX"

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.6876.1.2.0 = STRING: "4.1.0"

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.6876.1.4.0 = STRING: "260247"

 

But whe i try to add the node in NPM using admin - manage node -add node when i click the Validate SNMP button i get the error "Test failed"

while with VMware credentials all it's ok.

 

What shoud i check/change to get it work ?
