ESX Servers not showing VM's

Question

We are running Orion 9.1 SP5 and I have a ESX Server I am tring to have it show up so it has all the Virtual Machines.

VM Version VMware ESX Server 3.5.0

The ESX box is being monitored and all the interfaces are also being monitored.

I also have about 4 test servers on that ESX Server and I am monitoring them as well, they show me they are virtual machine and how much usage they are taking but they are not linked to any ESX system.

The ESX Server is not showing me any information outside the normal server information. I have set the default profile to use the ESX template and I guess where the information is supposed to be it just shows "No Data for the time period selected"

I am wondering what I am missing here?

Check out this thread and see if it helps.

A some point in applying updates to my NPM I started having these type issues with ESX and it's VM systems.

I had to go through all user accounts and make adjustments between these BY DEVICE TYPE and NODE DETAILS VIEW. Good Luck.

What other modules do you have installed? I'm going back over my ESX issue and it seems that I may still have a problem and I think it may be related to other modules. I downloaded a demo on NPM and right out of the gate ESX monitoring is working flawlessly. Is there a database checker that can be run to validate the DB integrity? That may help, if not it would ease my mind.

Also when upgrading to SP5 did you get a message about services not stopping in time?

Restarted same issue.

Change the views and sections show up, but the are all blank.
