Does anyone have suggestions as to how you would recommend monitoring the Valid/NOT Valid status of SPIDs on an ISDN BRI interface on a Cisco router? Thus far, digging through MIBs has yielded unsatisfactory results. I have found an OID that should let me monitor L1/2 up/down status. However, it is of little help, as Layer 2 will still show up if only one SPID is accepted.
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Our organization really needs to find clear, concise way to monitor our BRI connections. The sheer number that we manage makes manual checks almost unfeasable.
