Best Practice for gathering and importing user data

I am just getting started with setting up monitoring for my users. This will require me to meet with and interview my users to find out what applications, services, nodes they have, threshold points, and subsequent response/actions. What is your suggestion as to the best and most efficient way to go about gathering this  data. Is there a template of questions available to use and can that be imported into SolarWinds in a spreadsheet format?  Thanks!

No kind of spreadsheet exists that I've seen that you can import those types of configurations. It would be a manual process with the exception perhaps of application and node discovery.
