start SSH from system manager?

I want to start an SSH client instead of telnet from the system manager (NOT the web page).
Is this possible? Is there a patch or other way to do this? I've read another thread that talks about registry tweaks or renaming telnet.exe and none of these work.

I'm using Cirrus as well and it's better because it lets you enter custom keyboard shortcuts.
