Ability to Monitor Web Pages
spandey
Does anyone know if there is a way to monitor the availability of webpages in Orion? We monitor all of the back end systems and generally don't have a problem with them, but occasionaly a web page will get hosed without the server going down.
We currently use an external service to monitor a few of our external pages but it would be great if we had something that could monitor more of our internal pages. Does this exist and I've only missed it?
I appreciate it.

Orion Application Monitoring will monitor individual .exe's. So you could see if IIS service went down. However probably for individual indepth monitoring of individual pages your best bet is to use a Microsoft MOM server.

Or Mercury SiteScope instead of MOM...
I've seen mention of one of the upcoming Orion Management packs that eludes to content match functionality if you read it right, but no concrete details of what the functionality is. Don Yonce, can you jump in here?
