Our solarwinds orion box started reporting a bunch of devices as "rebooted" over the past couple weeks. After looking into the problems, it appears as the uptime integer counter actually rolled over. it is a 32bit number of 1/10 seconds. Doing some math, I figured that every 419 days of uptime, my systems are showing as rebooted. These systems tend to be infrastructure switches, access points, voice gateways that are not normally rebooted for Microsoft Security updates.
Has anyone else seen this, and if so, have you been able to rewrite your alerts to take this into account?
