How is it determined what things are written to the orion events log (that shows up in the node events list)? I see that when I create an alert I can write to the log and thus those show up in the alerts tab list. But what in the events log gets there?
For that matter, why would I create eventlogs based on alerts? Just for visual queues? I prefer to get txt messages and emails (which I do) as I can never be watching the hundreds of nodes alerts screens at once. just too many.
