Anyone supporting alot of Orion user accounts through an Orion Additional Web Server ? I am looking to get a sense of how many concurrent users can be supported? I am running 8.5.1 SP3 with my SQL DB on a separate server and a dedicated additional web server. Currently everything is working great and resource usage (memory, cpu, etc) on my servers is very very low. I am beginning to create user accounts for my remote sites (about 80 in all) each account will be limited to nodes within thier site(10 to 15 in total) and they will basically only have an All Nodes Resource, Event Summary, a Node Details view and a handful of basic reports limited to thier 10-15 devices. I do not expect to be able to support all 80 accounts concurrently but I am looking to get a feel from some of you as to how many concurrent users is reasonable. I had heard that at about 12 concurrent users the system would begin to bog down, but that was in reference to the primary Orion server. But even with the additional web server every time I grant access to 10 more remote sites I have a knot in my stomach wondering if that's the straw that will break the camels back. Any real world advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated.
