We just upgraded to Orion 2015.1.2 and ever since, the SolarWinds Information Service V3 keeps going up and down on all of our additional pollers. We do have a support ticket in on this, so this question isn't on that. My question is: What, exactly, is SWIS? How does it tie in to the over all picture? With this going up and down, is the poller still polling? Why is there a service for SolarWinds Information Service and SolarWinds Information Service V3? I did an quick search and didn't find anything that would help me. I am just trying to wrap my head around all these services. Any light shed would be appreciated.
