Interface Auto-Addition

Hello,

I guess this is a feature request, as I haven't seen any such feature in SolarWinds. We are looking to start providing billing out of SolarWinds - through some custom programming, for the connections we provide off of our network switches. Currently when we configure a new port on the switch, we have to go into SolarWinds and tick the port on the Resource List. Ideally we'd like to see SolarWinds automatically add ports for tracking - when it sees the port become "Administratively Up".

Yes, that's a feature request. It's a good one, though.

good one, also when checking the device regularly, see if any thing has been added - new interfaces, removed, etc....(like adding a blade to a 6500 switch).
