need help with email alerts

Hi all

Im currently doing work experience with a company and they have asked me to create email alerts for a specific server. Im getting stuck on the trigger condition as i have no prior knowledge of scripting of any sort(i can read them easily but i couldnt write one for nuts).

What i need to do is alert one person about the status(up/down/unknown) of the component monitors on a single server via email and on the NPM website.

i also need to alert this person about warning and critical states of the servers disk space, RAM, CPU load etc

how do i go about writing a trigger condition for these?

Dont sound too complicated and you should be able to setup them up with the standard alerts.

Check out the guides that come with orion, you should be able to pick up the basics from there.

We recommend you create an advanced alert because they are more flexible.
