Orion 8.5 Upgrade Woes

After upgrading from 8.1 to 8.5, a process ran that changed all of my interfaces to 100Mb Fast Ethernet speeds. I was under the impression that would not happen on interfaces that were manually edited at the time they were added to the system. I have a call logged with Solarwinds, but have not heard back from them, and need to get the interfaces changed back (hundreds of them). Before I do this manually, does anyone know if this same process will overwrite what I put BACK in?

I'm still pretty much a rookie here, but I'm thinkin' Cirrus is the tool that would be used to change your speeds. Orion just monitors them. You can 'batch' your changes through Cirrus. I'd also use Cirrus to back up those setting in the case something goes wrong in the future.

One of the features in 8.5 is to automatically update discovery speeds. Unfortunately, in the upgrade, we wrote over custom speeds. We will fixed that upgrade problem in 8.5.1. Importantly, if you go back into your interfaces and set them manually, rediscovery will NOT overwrite them again. Our apologies for the extra work we caused.
