Monitoring Cisco Application Control Engine ( ACE)

I have Cisco ACE as Loadbalancer in my datacenter environment. I am unable to monitor the sevices for the same in NPM.

I want to monitor the SSL traffic , CPU , Interface , Connections and memory for the device.
I have tried getting the MIBs from cisco but unable to get the desired result.

Has anyone done this before.

Did you ever have any luck with this device? We just deployed our first ACE devices recently and it's time to get them monitored by Orion. I'm curious what issues you ran into, and what the final outcome was. Also, if you have any UDPs you've created for the ACE I'm hoping you'd be willing to share them with me. Thanks.

We will be deploying CISCO ACE20-MOD-K9 shortly also.

I'd be interested in updates here and I'll post if we can get this to be monitored as well.

I'd also be very interested. We actually have 1 ACE module internally and 2 ACE modules externally at two different locations and we're ready to start monitoring those as well.

We are also in this same situation and would love to have any updated information on this. I don't see any ACE related UnDP downloads in the Content Exchange section as of yet.

I'm not very savy and turning this into something useful in Orion. I'll take shot with the MIBs, but if anyone has any success with this please let me know.

I've been struggling lately after going live with a pair of Cisco ACE 4710 appliances, but finally identified most of the OID's that we want to keep tabs on, which are below:

ACE - CPU (5 min. avg.): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8.1

VIP - Current connections: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.4.2.1.6

VIP - Total connections: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.4.2.1.7

VIP - Dropped connections: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.4.2.1.8

VIP - Current state: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.4.2.1.4

RealServer - Current connections: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.470.1.1.1.1.19

RealServer - Total connections: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.470.1.1.1.1.17

RealServer - Current state: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.470.1.1.1.1.13

I believe there's currently no way to monitor memory, I read elsewhere there's an open Cisco bug on this issue as of a few weeks ago.

Note: for the "Current state" OID's, a value of 2 is "in service" (UP), whereas any other value is some form of a down state.
