Is there a way to export all of the network gear in SW/NPM to import into a new SW server?
Can you edit the fields after the export and then upload it with the changes?
Your best bet and safest bet is to use network discovery and manually edit the changes after. While technically the method you mentioned can work, I can speak from experience in saying that it could give you more headache than it's worth too if it isn't done correctly.
