Logging info with seconds

Is there a way to have events and logging information displayed with the seconds included?

 I've had this as a feature request (optional setting) for quite some time.  We ultimately deployed Advanced Alerts with an action of logging to the Event Log in the format we wanted.  The actual date/time stamp on the event still doesn't include the seconds, we just inserted that information into the message of the vent.  We use:

${NodeName} is ${Node.Status} at ${M}/${DD}/${Year} ${H}:${MM}:${Second} ${AMPM}
