Hey Techies...
Here's the skinny. We have a pair of core 6506's that were running HSRP, and were added successfully into Orion. I recently migrated us to VSS, where in the naming convention for all interfaces changed... it went from, for example, Ten1/1 or Ten2/5 (on each chassis) to Ten1/1/1 or Ten2/2/5 (in a single config).
After the change, I tried to list resources in the existing Orion object, but this failed. I then deleted the old object and recreated a new one, and listed resources. They now appeared correctly. However, after selecting the UP interfaces to monitor, and clicking Submit, I received the error:
"An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail."
Inner FaultException? What?
I then tried to delete the new object and received:
"Item 1 of 1 where 1 failed. Last error: Internal Server Error"
Anyone come across anything like this? Thoughts? I'd love to post a pic of the errors, but I guess that's not allowed.
Much obliged,
Mike
