World Maps with Groups

Question

Hiii

I have installed latest version of NPM 12.5. We are trying to put the Groups on the World Map. We have set the Latiitude and Longitude Co-ordinates. Still nothing seen on the World Map. When we try to Map manually, we cannot specify the co-ordinates.

Could any one has did the same.

Thank you this worked. In latest version of NPM, there is already a custom property of Latitude and Longitude for World Maps which were hidden in my case.

i was actually hoping that the API would had a verb to update the world map table, would be a good feature.

Still a couple of things you can do, just be careful.

The first one is to update the table SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[WorldMapPoints] WHERE instance like 'Orion.Groups' here you can manualy update the Lat and Long

the second is the only way i have seen this done via custom property but it will require some auxiliary tables that hold the Lat and Long and SiteID's that relate to a SiteID custom property.

Thank you for your suggestion and it worked. However, we are having around 650 Groups. We need to manually put the Credentials so or will it take from the Custom Property for Groups (Lattitude & Longitude).
