How does Orion retrieve data from Windows systems when discovered

When you do a discovery operation of an address block and a Windows system is discovered -

what mechanism is Orion using to pull disk usage, CPU utilization, etc. Is that all via SNMP? Thanks

During polling, Orion NPM sends a SNMP GET request to each network device to poll the specified MIB objects. Received responses are then recorded in the Orion NPM database. Orion NPM uses MIB OIDs as references to retrieve specific data about SNMP-enabled, managed devices.
