I need a way to affect interface status based on metrics other then just up and down. If an interface is running at 99 percent utilization the interface should not show green. Or if there are tons of errors and discards the interface should not be green. I see that you can affect the node status via alerts but the same does not apply to the interface. That solution would be great because then I could create a custom alert and change the interface status.
With how many companies implement Solarwinds there must be a way to do this. I'm even willing to use SQL commands or any method that gets the job done.
Lastly the overall goal is to display an orange or red icon for a group/site on the world map so that our NOC can easily spot issues.
