I want Only UP/Down events to be displayed

NPM 10.1.2.

I ONLY want to display the Node or Interfaces Up/Down events + Device Rebooted Alarm.

In my setup: some of the Devices are SNMP polled and some are only ICMP (ping) polled.

I disabled most of the Alerts in "Advanced Alerts" but still getting events like the below ones:

I found out that by editing (Check/Uncheck) the EventTypes tabble, I can have better and easier user interface facility to do that.

Nevermind. I never dug into how to get the vents to disappear.

Are those alerts or events? If we are pinging that device and it stops responding to ping you will get node up and down events which just log to the UI. You can then enable the alerts to alert you on similar conditions.

We simply want to slash down the types of default EVENTS displayed on the Web Console to Up/Down ONLY for Nodes and interfaces + Device Rebootted. That's all.

Another idea to throw out there. You can create a new report for events that filters and only shows you events of those types you care about. You can then add a resource to whatever web page you care about this showing on and have it appear as a web resource.
