Please help as sometime i am unable to get the dropdown value while adding the alert.

1. From the Orion server, open the command prompt as administrator
2. Type "iisreset"
3. Clear cache from your web browser and test again
There is a post in SolarWinds thwack about your issue and resetting IIS via command prompt resolved it. Please see this
