Schedule the "Compact and Repair Database" task

Hi,

Another question is, how can I schedule the "Compact and Repair Database" task in "Database Maintenace" section. I am constantly being prompted by the program on the database is getting too big and compact database is recommended. Would appreciate if you could let me know whether I can schedule that or not please.

You should probably check the size of your database and make sure that it is not pushing the limits of the storage or SQL limitations.

In which directory is the database located?

From SQL manager/studio right click on the database and select the properties option. Then select the Files tab/page and they will list the current size of the database files
